Delete your account

Delete it yourself, in the app

You can delete your own account at any time, without contacting us:

1. Open the Thinkweb CRM app and sign in.
2. Go to More → Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm.

On the web application, the same option is in Settings. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

If you cannot sign in, email contact@thethinkweb.com from the address on the account. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your login, your name and email address, your organization membership, and your notification tokens are permanently removed.

If you are the only person in your organization, the organization is deleted with you, and everything in it goes: contacts, companies, deals, quotes, invoices, tickets, tasks, projects, expenses, time entries, and every uploaded file and photo. This is not recoverable.

If you have colleagues, the organization and its business records belong to that organization rather than to you, so they remain. Your personal account is removed and your access ends. If you were the last administrator, administrator rights pass to a remaining member so the organization is not left stranded. To delete the whole organization, the last remaining member should delete their account, or email us.

What we keep, and for how long

Nothing of your CRM content. When an organization is deleted, its records are removed immediately. Where an organization ends its subscription rather than deleting outright, we retain its data for 30 days so it can be exported, after which it is permanently deleted.

Our own accounting records. Invoices, payment records, and correspondence about your subscription with us are our business records rather than data we hold on your behalf. We keep these for seven years to meet tax, accounting, and audit obligations, and longer where we are legally required to preserve them for a claim or investigation. These concern the commercial relationship between our two businesses; they are not your stored CRM content.

Backups are rotated on a rolling basis and any residual copy is overwritten within 30 days of deletion.
